WHAT I’M PASSIONATE ABOUT

I am committed to learning from local community members and organizations about areas of opportunity.

Immediate focus policy areas include:

Affordability

A more affordable Ontario, where housing for all different family sizes and needs is built, where we provide adequate disability support and tax levels remain reasonable.

Quality Healthcare

High-quality healthcare that Ontarians can rely on when it matters, and a system that will continue to attract the brightest and most caring healthcare professionals.

Strong Schools

A strong public school system that provides equal opportunities in life for our youth, regardless of socioeconomic or cultural background.

A More Dynamic Economy

A stronger and more dynamic economy that creates more opportunities for Ontarians and our business community, allowing us to afford high-quality public services.

Improving our Democracy

I am passionate about democracy. The low level of participation in Ontario elections is discouraging and driving division in our politics. There are several initiatives we can take to strengthen the health of our democracy. While I believe we need a Citizen’s Assembly on Electoral Reform to explore the initiatives that make best sense for Ontario, here are some of the ideas I have shared in the past:
