Heino Doessing and Hamilton Ontario Liberal Candidates Welcome Bonnie Crombie

Heino and Bonnie

On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, Heino Doessing and his fellow Ontario Liberal Party candidates welcomed Ontario Liberal Leader, Bonnie Crombie to Hamilton at a special event at the Neighbour to Neighbour Centre.

Liberal Leader, Bonnie Crombie, used the opportunity to announce that the party plans to double Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) payments for all those that are utilizing these benefits.  A great venue for such an announcement, Neighbour to Neighbour works to tackle food insecurity and poverty within the City of Hamilton.

Additionally, Bonnie Crombie spoke about affordability for the citizens of Hamilton and fellow Ontarians.  To accomplish this, she will cut personal income tax, take HST off home heating and hydro, and cut small business tax. Affordability is an important topic here in Hamilton and across the province, and allowing Ontarians to keep their hard-earned money in their pockets is a tool to create a fairer and more prosperous Ontario.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Bonnie Crombie to our city and the Neighbour to Neighbour Centre,” said Hamilton East-Stoney Creek Liberal candidate, Heino Doessing. “What a perfect venue to announce the party’s campaign promise to double ODSP payments.”

Bonnie Crombie, along with Heino Doessing and the Liberal party, has the vision and the plan to make Hamilton East-Stoney Creek – and the province –  a place where everyone can thrive.
