Heino Doessing Announced as Ontario Liberal Candidate for Hamilton East-Stoney Creek

On Thursday, January 23, 2025, in front of an enthusiastic crowd of supporters at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 622 in Stoney Creek, the provincial Liberal Party announced Heino Doessing as their nominee for Hamilton East-Stoney Creek.  

“I’m honoured and excited to accept the nomination as the Ontario Liberal Party candidate for Hamilton East-Stoney Creek,” said Heino Doessing.  “I’m looking forward to working hard and fighting for a better Ontario for all.”

A former City Councillor in his native Denmark, Heino and his family have called Hamilton home for almost a decade.  He quickly fell in love with the city and is proud to be a member of the community in Hamilton and Stoney Creek.  Heino has an economics background and has worked as a manager for some of Canada’s largest pensions and private equity funds.

“I am focused on our incredible community here in Hamilton East-Stoney Creek.  Specifically, I am focused on four key areas; education, healthcare, taxes, and community safety.  The Ontario Liberal Party’s plan will make our community, the City of Hamilton, and the entire province a better place to live, work and raise a family.”

Heino Doessing is poised to be your next Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) for Hamilton East-Stoney Creek and will represent this riding proudly at Queen’s Park.
