Sheila Copps Endorses Heino Doessing for MPP for Hamilton East–Stoney Creek

Today, Sheila Copps, Former MP for Hamilton East and Deputy Prime Minister issued the following endorsement of Heino Doessing, Ontario Liberal candidate for the Hamilton East—Stoney Creek by-election:

“Ontario is at a crossroads. For years, we’ve watched Doug Ford’s government spend taxpayer money without a second thought, funnelling resources toward pet projects, well-connected developers and other business friends while our hospitals crumble and our children struggle in underfunded schools.

But the residents of Hamilton East–Stoney Creek have an opportunity to send Doug Ford a message: Enough is enough.

Heino Doessing is exactly the person our community needs right now. He has been that constant presence at community events who you can always count on to show up.

Families are feeling the squeeze every day, whether it’s long waits at the hospital, underfunded classrooms, or the rising cost of just getting by.

We deserve a government that puts people first, not one that treats the taxpayer dollars like their own personal piggy bank.
